Take Advantage of Self Directed IRA Real Estate Opportunities and Rescue Your Retirement Savings

Are you worried about not having enough money saved up for when you finally decide to retire?  Unfortunately, you’re not the only one that feels this way.  Seeing that around 80% of all retirement investment are put into the stock market and other common securities, everyone is feeling the effects of the stock market “crash.”  However, you don’t have to sit around for 10-20 years waiting for your retirement account to return to a normal level.  A great way to make up for all the money taken away from your retirement account is taking advantage of truly self directed IRA real estate investments.

First off, what is a truly self directed IRA?  A truly self directed IRA is one that you have sole control over.  You choose what your savings is invested in, and you also have a much wider range of investments to take advantage of.

Sadly, not even 4% of all IRA holders choose to take this retirement route.  Most people are afraid of controlling their own investments, thinking that it takes too much time, work, and energy to do.  But this is hardly the case.

If you find the right custodian to help you with your account, then investing with a truly self directed IRA is pretty easy to do.  Sure, at first you’ll want to educate yourself on different kinds of investments and opportunities.  Or even better, you can find a well-respected and experienced company that will educate you on everything involved in the process (more on this later).

Truly self directed IRA real estate investments are now one of the best ways to get a high return on your investment dollars.  In fact, it’s not surprising if your ROI ends up being 20%, 30%, or higher.

Another reason self directed IRA real estate investing is so promising is because foreclosures are at an all time high, and prices are at ROCK BOTTOM levels.  This gives you a great opportunity to find high-quality homes at  great bargains (that is, if you know where to look).

You may not have known it, but self directed IRA real estate investing has been an option for every IRA holder since the IRA was established in 1974.  But in light of the housing market burst and the current economic situation that has developed within the past years, it’s popularity has increased.  And even better, it’s become even easier to take advantage of.

What if I told you that you could take advantage of all the knowledge and connections of a well-established company to make self directed IRA real estate investing a “hands-off” process on your part?  What if all you had to do is place your money (either cash or funds rolled over from another retirement account) into a truly self directed IRA; tell your custodian what you want to invest in with your funds; and collect your returns within a few months time?

Are you getting excited yet?  Well you SHOULD BE!

Article Marketing Online and Offline

There is only one constant in the world of business and that constant is the fact that the business world is always changing. This is an indisputable fact, and it creates a situation that needs to be remedied immediately. This situation of course is the marketing side of business, and without decent marketing your business will go under. There are no exceptions to this rule, and for this reason it is important that you embrace article marketing.

Article marketing is perhaps one of the most important strategies in today’s business world. This trend started several years ago when businesses realized they would need a top spot on the most popular search engines if they were to achieve the rankings they wanted in the first place. Due to the overwhelming number of business related websites on the internet, it is no surprise that it can be difficult to obtain a top spot in Google search results.

With article marketing you will stand more of a chance than normal simply because you will have the ability to create unique content that contains keywords relevant to the product you are offering. Something you need to understand however is that when you are creating your content, you should avoid utilizing keywords that are not relevant to the topic. When you are directing traffic to your website you will want to ensure that said traffic is interested in your product and ready to purchase at a moment’s notice.

As you are creating your article marketing materials you will need to consider just what is popular at the moment and apply it to your current article marketing strategy. One product may be popular with customers this month, but if you predict that another product will take precedence next month, then it may be a good time for you to create a few articles intended for that next product. Article marketing is about far more than decent grammar skills, it is about staying on top of the game and ensuring that you are ready for the next big shift.

You will more than likely find it difficult to keep up at first, and you may even need to acquire the services of an article marketing company. It may be a bit expensive to have others write your articles for you, but to be perfectly honest there is no expense that can overshadow the benefits of article marketing. You will be able to direct specialized traffic, spread the word about your business, and have a huge impact on the business world whether you are impacting customers directly, or having an effect on competing companies. Gaining that competitive edge will keep you in business, and it will keep your name out in the open.

In Direct Sales – Time Management Is Money In the Bank

You wake up, try to get showered and dressed before the kids wake up. Then you prepare breakfast, get them bathed, dressed and ready for the day. With any luck, you might manage a few minutes of time for yourself, but in general, the direct sales/home party consultant has a lot more on their plate than just juggling the kids schedules. If only it were that easy most days. Time management is one of the most popular issues for work-from-home consultants. Not only are the everyday distractions of kids and chores a difficulty, but unannounced visitors, home repairs, family, and other unforeseen items that crop up during the day. How do you handle it? Looking for help? Here are a few resources that just might make it easier for you.

  • Get a timer. It might seem silly at first, but setting your kitchen time for an hour at a time can help you realize just how much time is passing during the day. I prefer the “wind up” timers with the loud bell. They are portable, and I keep one near my desk in case the phone should ring. Then I just set it to go off in a few minutes. If the conversations keeping me from working, I just tell my caller “That’s my timer – I need to go take care of that now.” Most times, the caller doesn’t even question what the timer is for. They let you go, and you don’t have to feel guilty about it. If they do ask about it, you can just tell them, “I set my timer and now I have to go take care of something.” Then excuse yourself and get back to work.
  • Hang a sign on your door. Whether it’s your office door or your front door, let people know you are not to be disturbed. This doesn’t always help with rowdy kids, but it certainly cuts down on unannounced visitors. Make arrangements with a neighbor to accept packages for you during your work time, and leave a note for delivery drivers. A simple. “Please Do not disturb. In the office until 3pm. Please leave packages next door” if sufficient. Besides, in getting to know your neighbors, you might find a new customer.
  • Get organized first thing in the morning. I use and recommend Mark Joyner’s Simpleology 101: The Simple Science of Getting What You Want. It’s a free, comprehensive course that not only give you a new understanding of the power of time, energy and money, but actually walks you through a daily exercise, called a “target praxis” to help you get focused on the important, “must do’s” of the day. It takes about 10-15 minutes to work through the praxis and the daily lesson. It’s by far the best time I spend every morning organizing my thoughts. I find that I’m achieving more in less time, and I stay focused on the important issues instead of getting side tracked by surprise email or other internet distractions. Simpleology 101 is an online program that features video lessons, a workbook for reinforcement, and audios you can take with your for on-the-go learning.
  • Be Flexible. Don’t expect that you’ll adhere to your schedule 100% every day. Schedule in some “wiggle room” around customer calls, hostess coaching, and order entry. Sometimes, you can even multi-task. Consider taking the kids to play at the park while you sit and label catalogs. Then when you’re all done, you can join in the fun!
  • Have a “show on the go”. Keep a small sampling of product available with a hostess packet and recruiting info. Carry it with you at all times. You can put the product in a plastic zipper bag to keep it tidy, and the hostess packet can be in a separate envelope. This way you are ready to “talk shop” at a moments notice – even in line at the grocery store, saving time on customer followup at a later date.
  • Ask for help. Sometimes, it’s not possible, but talk with your family, and let them know how important your direct sales business is to you, and show them specific ways that they can help you be successful. Kids love to be helpful – especially if there’s a reward for doing so. Your spouse can help watch the kids in the evenings when you’re doing call backs or other business items. Just remember to reward them, too! Family rewards for helping out are a great way to spend time together – which is why you got into direct sales in the first place!

Always remember that you’re not alone in your direct sales company. Talk with your leader about what works for them. It might just help you, too. Ultimately, though, you are responsible for your own success. Finding ways to make the burden easier makes the job more enjoyable for everyone.
